Patty, the owner, is always friendly and inviting! (She even offered us a little bowl for the puppy's water! The new patio area was great for those looking to eat right away, as ET had closed their indoor dining during 2020.The food is still amazing as ever though, with a few special favorite items to highlight being: Mangonada, Asada tacos and tostadas, al pastor tacos, chocoflan, some traditional green salsa that will have your mouth watering for more, and in-house made horchata!Wheelchair accessibility: ET operates out of two windows (the height of the windows are roughly 4'9” and the line forms on the sidewalk in an open entry and exit tent.
Consistency is key! This place definitely knows how to keeps running smoothly. I’ve had the opportunity to eat here in all of Edgewater Taco’s moments. Had the chance to dine-in and do take-out. They might not have all the options to get your food like delivery but that’s okay!It’s great to have an establishment like this place! Everyone rocks! Always great and friendly service. And their food is still great! Always fresh and made to order. That consistency is what places need to stay on top. Edgewater Tacos knows how to run a family business. I’m always down to support a great local business like theirs.
TODAY I WENT TO ORDER TACOS FOR LUNCH, I WAS STRAVING AND ON MY LUNCH BREAK. THE NICE LADY TOOK MY ORDER. I SAT DOWN FOR 15 MINTUES AND REALIZED I HADN'T GOT MY FOOD YET SO I STOOD UP AND COME TO FIND OUT THEY GAVE MY ORDER TO SOMEONE ELSE WHO LEFT AND THEN BROUGHT IT BACK, THE CASHIER TRIED TO GIVE ME THAT ORDER THAT SOMEONE ELSE HAD LEFT WITH AND BROUGHT BACK, I WAS SO UPSET. ALL BLACK PEOPLE DO NOT LOOK ALIKE AND I DIDN'T APPRECIATE THEM GIVING MY FOOD TO SOMEONE ELSE THEN TRIED TO GIVE IT TO ME DIRECTLY. YES, I GOT A REFUND AND I WILL NOT RETURN.
My favorite taco spot! The steak tacos are incredibly juicy—you won't be able to stop at just one. It's truly authentic Mexican cuisine. The elite corn salad is also delicious, and they even offer a unique ice cream churro sandwich. What a fantastic idea! The food is whatever. The portions are really small and the seasoning ain 't all that. This is another one of those ethnic places that gets away with overpriced bland food cause YT ppl don 't know any better. You 're better off ordering food from a westside/southside place. You 'd get more food for less and it 's actually seasoned well. The staff was nice tho
love this place, been going to it for a while now. great food and great service, please give it a try! I can only knock it for no dine-in and no delivery, it's pick-up only. However, I know it's tough running a small business so obviously u do what u gotta do to stay afloat. I highly recommend their fish tacos, as well as their salsa!Food: 5/5
I can tell this place is popular for a reason, but I might have come at a less-than-ideal time last night. The chicken burrito I ordered was pretty dry, to be honest. My friends even joked that I might as well have ordered a sponge, which had everyone laughing in our group chat. I plan to give it another try soon, though. Food: 3/5.
I usually get the steak burritos here and meat is never dry and is marinated well. The beans and rice are good and they have those huge glasses of horchata.My only complaint would be that they only include verde salsa and no rojo.Vegetarian options: They're veggie burrito is terrific and they will customize it however you want. I ordered a fish taco for $5.50, but it was less than 3 inches long. It was average at best, and I could barely taste the fish. It was supposed to be Alaskan cod and was fried. Overall, I was very disappointed. Rating: 2/5 for the food.
