We really enjoyed our meal here, served by friendly staff at good prices (just over 30 euros for two main meals, a glass of wine, a beer and mineral water) on the pavement terrace outside.Good choice of food with photos which was very helpful as it meant we knew exactly what we were getting! (Can't remember whether there was an English translation as well, but don't think it's fair to mark places down for not having this)Only foible is that it's quite noisy - there is foliage separating you from the traffic but still quite noisy.
do not ask for ketchup in your sandwiches, apparently they have been out of stock for less than two months. Three orders recently, three times I find myself with white sauce, while I hate it, in my tacos instead of ketchup. It's a shame because apart from that it's really good... but here tonight 13 ball for tacos that I can't even finish is because the sauce that makes me feel bad. We didn't say anything the first time, but now it's starting to do a lot.
My wife and I popped out of our hotel to grab an easy meal at a restaurant opposite the river in Macon. The host was very friendly. He spoke little English and we spoke no French. Via the pictorial menu we communicated very well. We had doner meat with salad and fries helped down by a bottle of Rose wine. I was tasty and was accompanied by a choice of hot / or / garlic sauces. It was not expensive and it suited our casual needs very well.
