We visited on Friday October, after buying a Groupon voucher for a seven dishes tasting menu, costing including a bottle of yellow label champagne. Very professional on entrance and procedures well explained especially during covid, it was safe. We was directed to take...the lift to the floor where we was welcomed and shown to our table. A menu was already placed at the table of all the dishes as i was vegetarian i had to ask for that menu, which was provided promtly. All dishes was small but enough. My made a last minute booking at Quartier prior to lockdown for dinner. We had a look on the website at the menus ahead of time but were disappointed to see a substantially reduced (and quite basic) menu being served when we arrived. I ordered...sea bass with risotto which, when it was brought over, was dismally presented, burnt on top, and unbelievably bland. I wanted to get the attention of a waiter to at least ask for some black pepper to try and improve things but despite there being plenty of staff around, I couldn't get the attention of anyone during the entire meal and no one approached us to ask how our meal was. The menu at Quartier offers a variety of dishes that sound appealing, but unfortunately, the execution fell short. The scallop dish was lacking in flavor despite its good presentation, with the cauliflower purée and pesto also lacking taste. A group of five of us ordered the surf and turf, but all plates arrived cold and had to be sent back. By the time the dishes were returned, the rest of the group had finished their meals. The replacements were heated properly, but the presentation was subpar. One dish was missing its seafood component and had to be sent back again. Disappointing. Had the tasting menu and the food was forgettable at best. The service unfortunately wasn't much better. No menu provided, only told what was being put in front of us for half the courses. First drink arrived after finishing the course and no...one thought to ask how our meal was at the end, but that may be because my face and demeanour didn't hide my disappointment. May have been an off day or serving as I certainly don't understand the positive reviews after what I experienced

I recently went to this restaurant for a business lunch for the first time as a guest. I was really impressed by the location, the service, and the high quality of the food, and I plan on returning in the future. For my meal, I chose the Beetroot cured salmon, followed by the Surf and Turf (fillet beef and lobster), and finished with the chocolate bomb. While the chocolate bomb was a bit underwhelming, overall it was a delicious meal. The service was excellent.
We visited this restaurant as part of a group Groupon deal. We received a very warm welcome from the charming staff and were impressed by the whole building and dining area. The food was fantastic, delicious, and beautifully presented. The champagne was flowing freely and overall we left very happy. We would not hesitate to go back or recommend it to others.
I was given a course taster menu pe paid as a gift, and was delighted by the food exceptional main course of Norfolk black leg' chicken. The service was wonderful. we added glasses of Rose Champagne each for A great...evening!
Excellent. Had bought as a birthday gift for a friend. Had seven course taster menu with champagne. Everything was delicious. Staff very friendly and attentive, great attention to detail. Highly recommend

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this smart but friendly venue. Well worth the short walk from Liverpool Street station. The food and the service was excellent. Will definitely visit again
