Great food but what slightly spoilt the occasion was the ambiance. We were downstairs which we thought was probably an inferior position to dining upstairs. The decor was very hard with no soft furnishings to help tone down the noise. Maybe this was why the music was so loud, possibly so we couldn't hear each others conversations ? It spoiled the atmosphere somewhat and the whole room seemed more akin to a cafe than an upmarket restaurant. The food did redeem the experience though and next time I will ask for a table upstairs. When spending so on an evening there everything needs to be right, not just the food.
we had the privilege to be invited to a birthday party of the dear friends at a hurry. have meelin star never experienced before we fascinated to know whether it is justified by the hype and the price tag? we were not disappointed! very intimate spatialities. the staff are friendly, attentive, but not transferred. Eating and drinks were simply stunning! we had the 7-course tasting menu with accompanying weeps. first class! had an espresso martini at the arrival that was amazing. not cheap, but it is fine eating best and imo worth every penny!
What an incredible place. We had the 7 course tasting menu with the wine flight. Every course was amazing. They change the menu every month, my favourite on this menu was the Plaice with scraps. Steve is so passionate about his customers having a great experience, it was lovely for him to come and have a chat with all the customers. Will definitely be going again

Eileen’s is a little Gem. On arrival you are met and served by the most friendly of staff. The food is delicious and the wines chosen compliment the dishes perfectly. Steve and his 2nd chef came out, explained the courses and they were keen to know our opinions. It’s a lovely intimate restaurant. We look forward to returning.
the best I ever had! eating was excellent through all 7 courses, it was culinary journey with aromen and techniques that perfectly combines! the wine pairing was perfect, my wife enjoyed especially the dessert wines. Now I have eaten here, I fear other places where I will eat fall short!
recently visited for the first time. wonderful attentive service. beautiful aromen. relaxing atmosphere. the best meal I have enjoyed for years. Thank you. I guess that means we're coming back!
