We ate lunch here on our last day of our holiday in Lindau. All previous dining experiences on the island were very relaxed and enjoyable however this time in Schreier we found the service staff extremely unfriendly and inattentive. After lunch, I had a coffee...an I asked for milk twice. It took over 10 minutes for one waiter to aggressively throw the small carton on our table without saying a word, by then my coffee was already cold and not drinkable. Upon request, we also waited for our bill for another 10 minutes. It was not an enjoyable experience and I would recommend people trying out the other available cafes in Lindau which were all amazing and friendly!
so vor dem Wiederaufbau hätte ich den Koffeinschreier 5 volle Sterne gegeben. der Service war sehr freundlich, der Kuchen und das Eis lecker. alles war schon überall. aber jetzt der Wiederaufbau: Was hat der Besitzer daran gedacht? Selbstbedienung. Essen ist zurückgelassen, die Atmosphäre und die Umgebung sind grausam. Das wird nicht passieren. die Anzahl der Kunden ist ebenfalls drastisch zurückgegangen. wie es im Moment ist, ich schätze, es geht den Strom runter. Sehr schlecht!
After strolling around the Christmas market and the smell of all the sausages and fried food, we dived into this small café to something satisfying but not as greasy as what the market had to offer. We ordered apple strudel and were so happy that we....My friend ordered it with vanilla sauce and I ordered my with whipped cream. From our table we could see the port and the shops on the market. A pleasant place to stop.
Good view over the port. Fast service. We ordered 2 ice cream suns, a fanta, a coffee and a glass of tap water. To our surprise they charge 50 cents for the tap water!! What a demolition. In most cafes, you would definitely offer free water with your coffee.

This place is great for the views of the harbor, the mountains and people watching. the service was very slow but with the views you almost didn't notice how slow.
