The food is fairly good, but it doesn’t live up to the price. At half the price, they’d be excellent. Little things like $4 fountain drinks and $4 up-charge for a sprinkling of blue cheese on a salad strike me as desperate. $37 for chicken with peppers — add $6 if you want white meat — is obnoxious no matter what hand-fed, only-slept-on-down-pillows, massaged by an old country grandpa named Vito chicken they might be using. The staff is attentive and courteous, and the interior decor is quite delightful. I’d have enjoyed it more had I not wondered if someone in the parking lot would be willing to buy my hubcaps so I could pay for dinner. Just kidding, they offer table-side loans.
Upon entering EJ's you are transformed to the Norths Woods. It is a warm cozy feeling. The food, service, and ambiance are all outstanding!! Whether you have a steak, chicken, or Italian fare you will be very happy with your choice. Appetizers, sides, and desserts are all excellent. You will always leave EJ's very satisfied and you might even have dinner for the next evening.
Fantastic steaks for our wedding anniversary. The room is so reminiscent of an old school supper club. The food was amazing. Our waiter was certainly a character. Plus comped dessert for the special occasion. Definitely going back.
We had an excellent dinner. We started with crab cakes that were delicious. We had salmon, chicken vesuvio, cheese ravioli with sausage and a spaghetti with meat sauce. We enjoyed the cocktails. Always a treat to eat here. Thanks
Never a bad meal here. Never met anyone that has been there that does not love it. I recommend this place to anyone with confidence.
A classic steakhouse, but the staff is more approachable than stuffy. Really makes you feel like part of the family
