On Sunday, May 1st, I gave this restaurant 5 stars solely because the one waitress attending to 27 guests gave it her all! She was quick in bringing our food. Unfortunately, the management was present but did not assist her with refills, napkins, or extra side orders. They also didn’t notice that the cooks placed a cold side dish on top of a piping hot fajita plate, which made the food inedible. That said, the food itself was very flavorful, and I didn't need to add any seasoning. Management definitely needs to step up their game! Kudos to the waitress!
This place was really disappointing. I usually don't like leaving negative reviews for small businesses, but our experience here was just bad from start to finish. My wife and I arrived and saw a man sitting alone at the bar. We waited about five minutes before someone finally told us to sit wherever we wanted. They brought out chips and salsa, but the salsa was completely tasteless. When the waitress came by, we asked for water, but one of the cups was dirty—perhaps an honest mistake, but it didn’t help our impression.
Fantastic atmosphere, delicious food, and outstanding service! I recently visited for lunch and enjoyed a great meal with attentive staff, despite only a few other tables being occupied. Everyone was warm and welcoming. The food was flavorful, and the portions were generous considering the price. There’s plenty of free parking in the back, and it’s conveniently located within a short walk of multiple major bus routes serving Silver Spring, Takoma Park, and DC. I’ll definitely be making El Aguila a regular stop!

Wow, where should I start? As soon as I entered, I was greeted with warmth and friendliness. The food was served hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The prices are quite reasonable given the generous portions. I truly believe this is one of the best restaurants on Georgia Avenue. It's a delightful place for a wonderful dinner with friends and is very family-friendly. They also have a bar and a private area that can be reserved for private dinners or parties. Overall, it's simply outstanding!
The service was average, but I found the food to be quite disappointing. The pupusas were tough, and the presentation of the dishes was lacking. The only redeeming factor was the drinks. Even the chips and salsa had an unpleasant flavor. I won't be returning to this restaurant; in fact, I didn't even eat anything because the food quality was so poor.
We had a wonderful experience with both the food and the service. Our waitress, Kelly, was exceptional—she knew the menu inside and out and provided us with excellent recommendations for our orders. The drinks were delicious, and the staff was extremely friendly. Additionally, the restaurant was spotless.

Even the chips and salsa tasted weird. Never again will I eat there, matter in fact Ididn?t eat because of the quality of the food.

Overall, it's a lovely restaurant with ample parking and a welcoming family ambiance. I rated it 4 stars primarily because I consider the food prices to be a bit on the high side for my preference, but the service is outstanding.
