El Azteca es Buena Hidden in the shops of Dunwoody Village, El Azteca is a family-friendly Mexican restaurant. When I went to El Azteca, I went through a gated outside seat; then straight inward. I opened the door and entered this tiny area where the hostess stood waiting for cartridges. I arrived at 6:00 at night and it was so empty that I could hear the grills. Another yellow door opened from the right, and that was the room I sat in. It was charming, it looked like you were in a Mexican Hacienda kitchen. This is my absolute favorite Mexican restaurant in the area! I know most people don't usually go to restaurants such as this for salads, but their homemade salad dressings are SO good! The chicken soup is also unlike anything I've ever had. Sounds boring, but it's so incredibly flavorful! Between my family and I, we've probably ordered just about everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. They also make a really stellar margarita! Great staff as well!

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant. I'm really puzzled by some of the negative reviews! My wife and I have been here several times, and we've always had fantastic meals and excellent service. My wife really enjoys the grilled steak flautas, and I absolutely love the grilled steak tacos. The margaritas are also top-notch. We just wish we lived closer so we could come here more often!

Our favorite Mexican restaurant. We tried most Mexican restaurants in Dunwoody and Sandy Springs. We only discovered El Azteca about 2 years ago and it has become our favorite. They have a special one every day and their chips, salsa and cheese are very good. My family has 2 vegetarians. We found all the dishes we look forward to every week. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

The food here is fantastic—truly outstanding! The salsa is especially delicious. Just a tip: don’t fill up on chips before your meal arrives. The staff is also wonderful—extremely friendly and helpful.
