Above all, I never give 5 stars. What makes a 5 star rating is what Bobbie (sp? the owner puts in place. She survived COVID in contrast to other restaurants with hands on service and protocols that were safe for her workers. I can't count how often she'll be here to sit and stand up and do what needs to be done. Your staff is trained. I had many different variations of Mexican food. You like it or not. But what you come is quite expensive drinks and food and great service. If you have a problem, it will take care of it. Seriously. If you give them a little less, then 4 stars then your being picky and not fair for everything that is done to offer this restaurant one of the best lansing.

Do not let the place fool you My family has come here for at least 35 years that I remember. The new supplement outside in the back is wonderful. Heated for cooler days and some covered areas for rainy days. Great on a Michigan summer day. This place never lets me down (hands below better than East Lansing location). Aliana (not sure to spell) is a wonderful cook and person. Service and food were always good. We get the CV Burrito. Your salsa is delicious and prices are not expensive.

I'm not local to Lansing, but I looked at this place because I love Mexican food! The food was great! The staff was AMAZING! Special screams from our waitress Sandy. She was such a treasure and I'm going to Lansing for the hour to come back for her!

The food was good. In the past we received a much larger basket of corn chips. A second small basket of chips and salsa was $1,00. Not bad, but not what it was earlier. At least they were open for lunch on Mondays!
