this is the first place where my wife brought me to eat over 40 years ago. it remains our favorite Mexican restaurant, but as we do not live close to it, it is a special occasion when we come there. it is busy, so from days and from hours make it a more pleasant meal when they eat it. they are often families with children and large groups. so if they try a date night dinner in the front on the upper level, which only tables for two or four people. we stopped there on our trip to the house to pick up takeout. while we waited for our food, we sat on the bar and had both a margarita, chips and salsa that was delicious. This restaurant offers an excellent dining experience with delicious food, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere. The burritos and queso with chorizo are must-tries!
I visited this restaurant for the second time, and it was just as excellent as my first experience. Although it’s a 30-minute drive for me, I don’t mind the trip at all; it's definitely worth it. The ambiance is beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I usually spend at least $50 each time I visit. While it might be a bit pricey, I believe the quality of the food justifies the cost. I cleaned my plate both times I was there!

I drive 25 minutes to get here. Been coming here for 22 years. Very reasonable prices and full bar. Their Huevos rancheros is wonderful and served all day. The Mexican meatball soup is fabulous. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious Mexican cuisine, which was served promptly by a friendly and attentive waiter. There were plenty of lunch specials to choose from. This spot provided a much-needed break during our long road trip, and we were glad to have found it. Highly recommended!
