This lovely small restaurant is located in a fairly difficult to find plaza in old, central Valencia. The menu is unique in that they have 2 kitchens and 2 different chefs. One a traditional carnivore and the other a vegan. This keeps the vegan happy and the carnivore. Usually one or the other ends up compromising. Either the vegan ends up with a salad and potatoes or the carnivore. We were here for tapas. I started with their fried potatoes. After 15 days in Spain I was heartily sick and tired of drowned in oil French fries. I specifically told the waitress I wanted the minimum amount of oil. Just arrived in Barcelona and getting late for mid day re-fuel, so decided to walk until we saw a nice place to eat near the hotel. They could not have been more helpful and the food that came was delicious. Fish soup, with large (for the price) pieces of well cooked fish, mussels and potato (see photo). Also good Spanish omelette which was good but would have been even better had we asked for it to be heated up, which I’m sure they would have done. Small local place, only two tables outside.
El menú constaba de tres entrantes, principal y postre y todo estaba buenísimo. El local es muy agradable y nos han atendido estupendamente, cuidan cada detalle y todo estaba impecable. Los gintonics estaban espectaculares y hemos pasado un rato inmejorable!
Comida de calidad con platos refinados con buena elaboración, cocina vanguardista. Local agradable decorado con gusto. El personal es muy agradable y atento. Relación calidad precio muy buena. Hemos repetido y volveremos. Totalmente recomendable.

Todo buenísimo, el dueño super simpático y muy profesional, era el cumple de mi hijo y el postre se lo a llevado con las velas encendidas de su 15 cumpleaños, hemos quedado muy contentos. Repetiremos seguro. Muchas gracias.
I happened upon Restaurante Bon Gust and from what appeared to be a pop-up restaurant in a car park, was in fact a local hangout that was pumping and in which I had one of the best seafood stews – absolutely brilliant.
Hoy he comido una de las mejores tostadas como las pido. La atención de 10. Muy satisfecha, mi amigo también que pidió bocata y genial.
