I've been walking to this Cuban bakery for decades. It's like stepping back in time to where you abuelo took you after school. My daughter loves it as do i but beyond the usual favorites this is one of the few places that you can still purchase un Pan de Gloria and the bocadito spread your abuelo use to make for special occasions. The employees haven't changed in decades and everyone is very sweet. Over the years they have added tequenos and pan de Bono as well as some American classics like chocolate mousse. They have every type of croqueta and empanadas as well as pastelitos. It's usually packed but line moves fast and it's everyone's go to place for Cuban bread.
This is the quintessential Miami Cuban bakery, definitely not a tourist trap. There's nothing fancy here, very few of the staff speak English, it's easier if you just point to what you want. Established in 1978, this is a Miami staple. There's no places to sit, this is takeout ONLY. The service is quick and efficient, they do have a credit card minimum so you might want to bring cash.
The best Brazo Gitano ever! I always remember driving by El Brazo Fuerte, just five blocks from our house, before heading to the beach to pick up my pastelitos and other pastries—long before they remodeled the bakery in the mid-80s. This place is a landmark in Miami's Southwest.
We had a last minute party, every other place requires at least a 24 hour notice. This bakery was able to prepare a party order for 50 people within 5-10 minutes. Great quality cake and pastries. Will definitely return for more parties. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The best Cuban bakery in Miami!!!! As a child I grew up across the street from El Brazo Fuerte on 32nd Ave. I live in upstate NY but every time I visit Miami with my family El Brazil Fuerte is one of my favorite places to go!
The best pastelitos! I recently came to Connecticut to visit my daughter, and all she wanted was pastelitos from El Brazo Fuerte. We absolutely love it. It's a fantastic bakery that we've been going to for over 30 years!
This place never disappoints! They serve the best croquetas and pastelitos in Miami, and it's definitely worth the wait if there's a line.
