This is a fantastic place! They serve authentic Peruvian tapas and full dishes. I had a causa (a traditional potato dish). On the menu it is served with chicken but they kindly made it for me with tuna. I also had a tapa of papas a la huancaina also delicious and a very generous size for a tapa. There home made spicy sauce is excellent! Service was excellent and prices were reasonable. I will definitely eat here again if I am lucky enough to come back here!
We stopped here for a drink on a quiet Wednesday afternoon in June. Our Spanish is poor at best but the lovely Peruvian owner came out and spoke to us in perfect English and explained about her national dishes. We had the cerviche de pascado which was beautiful and unusual to our palate. If I ever found myself in El Puerto de Santa Maria again I would seek this place out. We had a wonderful meal with our two kids at this restaurant. Abigail and her husband were very welcoming and we tried some authentic Peruvian dishes, both fish and land food. Also we tried the Pisco sour drink which was fantastic. If you are in the area and want to try something different from the local fare, I highly recommend.
