I came here today with my sister because my mom had a nail appointment next door besides the point the food was great the steak was very tender and i loved the sauce our server was very nice to us she also let us watch the tv after we ate and the churros are AMAZING I 'm not Latin so i can 't say if they 're authentic but that doesn 't matter to me because the food was great and i loved the atmosphere it felt like a bar/saloon and the radio played Blink-182 so that 's a plus but overall i think people should stop being so harsh on the reviews so i hope my review can raise this place to 4 stars at least GREAT PLACE would recommend Kid-friendliness: very nice for me and my little sister everyo...
My wife and I loved this place- the food and drinks were always great. However… our first time back in 2024 and it’s nowhere near the same. The quality of the food is beyond disappointing. Sad, actually. The portions are child size, the chips were not homemade, the queso is generic velveeta, and the drinks… why did you change your house margarita?! Super sugary and almost zero alcohol. Our server was very sweet and attentive, but everything that changed since last year makes us not want to go back. So sad.
This place was everything to me for the past couple years. Just went there last night and I’m devastated. They changed the entire menu and raised all the prices like crazy and we still decided to try it, our bill was double what it normally was and the food was super disappointing. If you liked this place before, just don’t go back. Keep the good memory alive and don’t let yourself down. So sad.
Im a latino guy, trying tontaste the mexican food, like they said is the flavor, but naaaaa they never was a friendly place, I feel a little discriminated, they never gave me a table, and they wasn’t have a table for me and my family, so if you are a latino guy, is not the right place, terrible terrible, el camino nombre latino, lugar latino, donde no quieren a los latinos, ironico!!! As a Latina, I was very disappointed with the al pastor tacos. Not even remotely authentic, the tortillas were cold and not even grilled. No self-respecting Mexican would use shredded meat. The only thing that ate the tacos was my garbage can. You would be better served at any food truck in Pontiac, will not go back.
The atmosphere is spot on with incredible attention paid to the details. The servers are constantly busy, but always attentive and willing to make sure you have a good experience. The food is delightful and something our family looks forward to. Don't forget to order the chips and salsa to start!
Wow! Why 4 stars? The food is simply delicious! This is my best experience with Mexican food in a long time! They mentioned that they got a new chef who made food to be very goooood! Love it! 5 stars for sure!!!
