We only visited this place because it was 21.30, late in Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer to have a proper dinner, and Tripadvisor ranking was not so bad.HUGE MISTAKE, BIG FAIL. It is a tourist trap.The fish soup was okay, spicy. Monkfish in fatty cheesy cream sauce was way too expensive and without enough monkfish. Paella was spicy, but on the dry side and greasy, price too high for a big rice portion with little fish. Stomach feels terrible currently.We were seated behind a pillar and no performance was visible. However, this establishment asked without hesitation for 10Euros for the performance (5Euro/person). Make sure you book a table when the music and dancing is on, as it always sells out. We were lucky enough to get a front row table, and the standard of the musicianship is superb, however the flamenco dancer is out of this world. If you have only ever seen the stampy fling-your-arms-around-a-lot type of flamenco, then go and see this lady, she tells stories with the dance, and really means it, so much passion. I am amazed that people complain about paying 5 Euros for such a display. The food is ok, very regional, and the service excellent.
Although in the Carmargue this restaurant has a strong Spanish feel. The menu and general ambiance plus the Flamenco guitarists all reinforce this. The food is really good. We shared a tapas plate to start and had paella and a stake each. All great; good quality and substantial portions. While many of the restaurants in the local area looked good this seems the one to try. It certainly attracted a pretty large crowd outside listening to the music.
Very popular restaurant notable for the Flamenco band that plays on certain evenings. Supplement of 3 euros added to bill for each person to cover cost. All the players from the same family- they sell their CD's at the end. Food good- service remarkably prompt considering how busy they get. Booking essential- we as a group of 4 got the last table.

We have been there as a group of 6. Flamenco musicians were very good indeed; food good quality and above average for a very touristic town in August. Very friendly service in spite of the place being crowded.
This restaurant had a great atmosphere there is flamenco music most nights which give the feeling of being in Spain also has a great Paella Sangria for €14 . Other great dishes as well great night out
One of the best if not the best restaurant in Saintes Maries. Service is great, with a gypsy group playing entertaining music. The atmosphere is very typical. Food is also amazing. Prices are ok
