Had a lovely meal with family. Heaps of food, all beautifully cooked by Joseph himself. Prawns n garlic and chilli, chicken salad, ham and melon, followed by pork fillet, mixed grill and rump steak, followed by birthday cake specially for me! No lunchtime menu Del dia at weekends, but €9 per person Monday to Friday. Good menu!
El Castillo is a little walk out of the center of La Marina. I saw a flamenco night advertised so went along. The Flamenco part of the night was OK, the buffet style food was ok but the wine prices, for this part of Spain were too high.
The fish and steak are very good value here. we have them nearly every time we are in La Marina. The prawn cocktail starters are very fresh and the prawns are of the large size. Beers cold and a nice relaxing place to eat in the garden
Never disappointed. We always go for lunch and it is excellent. Joseph, the owner host is quite a character and always welcoming. Nothing is a trouble to him, and he does the cooking himself. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The surrounding is perfect the tone steak was perfect, service fine. The stinking dog in the back was a overkill and so was the desert from the supermarket.
Had 2 weeks with 5 visits to josef!!! Again can't be more welcome leaving tonite 15th And miss flamenco fantastic food and So family friendly
Fantastic for once the place was full with a real flamenco a good buffet and Josef and staff as usual couldn't do enough brilliant
