Premetto che ho fatto con la mia compagna 40 km per venire a cenare in questo ristorante, ispirato dalle buone recensioni su the fork e dalla suggestione di una location eccellente. Nulla da dire sul posto, sicuramente suggestivo e in linea con le aspettativa. Nel ristorante, però, manca la giusta atmosfera. Basterebbe qualche candela per dare un pò di calore. Il cibo è nella media di esperimenti gourmet fuori moda. Non entro nel merito delle portate per garbo, ma per aspirare alla michelin sono sicuro che questa è l'intenzione) ci vuole un pò di passione in più e meno presunzione. Il servizio è veloce, ma tutto regge sulle spalle di un unico cameriere , bravo e gentile, che non è a mio avvi...
Hemos ido a celebrar una boda íntima (22 personas) al castillo. Solamente puedo decir que gracias y que todo ha sido perfecto. Gracias a todo el personal del castillo (con especial agradecimiento a Yamilka por ayudaremos a preparar el evento) porque gracias a ellos ha sido un día perfecto. El lugar es maravilloso, el comedor genial, la comida deliciosa (todos salieron de la celebración diciendo que el lugar es 100% recomendable). Solamente dar las gracias por ayudar a que ese día fuese perfecto y volveremos seguro a celebrar el aniversario.
My husband and I had a really enjoyable meal here last night as were staying at the castle. We ordered the soup and the croquettes for entrees (soup was the best), followed by the beef cheeks and the twice cooked port (beef cheeks amazing). The highlight for me was the hazelnut soufflé dessert which was up there with one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. Service was great and we thought it was value for money.

El Castillo Arteaga is beyond delish — from the divine local pepper and scallop starters, to the steak and glorious castle location, this place is all that and a bag of chips. Highly, highly recommend!
Comer en un castillo ya es una buena experiencia, pero hacerlo con tan buen trato y con unos platos tan deliciosos es algo que esperamos volver a repetir. Delicioso todo.
