I have been going to El Cerritos since I was a child. Recently, the restaurant has been compromising its iconic service and food quality. During my most recent visit, I ordered two entrees and two drinks, which came to a total of $41. I found the prices to be a bit high. However, what was even more disappointing was when I discovered that my steak burrito contained both steak and chicken, which was not what I had ordered. Additionally, we had to wait 25 minutes after paying for our meal (we had called ahead at 6:23, arrived and paid at 6:36, but did not receive our food until 7:00). The food was decent at this restaurant. I ordered the supreme dish while my family ordered combo plates. I have had better Mexican cuisine before, but being from Arizona, I may be a bit spoiled when it comes to flavors. The dishes seemed a little on the bland side to me, but overall it was still good. However, the prices were quite steep. A family of four should expect to spend over $100 plus extra for drinks. There was even a sign indicating that the prices were higher than what was listed on the menu. I personally think they should update their menu to accurately reflect the prices. With all that being said, I am unsure if I would return to this restaurant.
I absolutely love this restaurant. Despite seeing some negative reviews from others, I have been here around 50 times and have never had a bad experience. The food is always amazing. Sometimes I question if people only write negative reviews because they can. The service is excellent and the waitstaff are friendly. I always order the steak and shrimp dinner, which I love. It is a fantastic place to eat.
I always have a fantastic experience at this restaurant! I frequently visit with my family and the food is consistently delicious. The service is also fast and precise. Parking is convenient as it shares a large parking lot with a strip mall and McDonald's.

The food is middle of the pack but waited 2 hours for food and had to remind a waiter to bring my food twice but the atmosphere is decent
I've ordered out twice and twice as nice. Rich flavor and fresh. I haven't dined here but looking forward to it. A must try place.
Restaurant filled up as soon as the doors oped, and we were out of there within an hour and a 1/2. The food is Always delicious ?
The fajitas and queso were good. I didn't care for their thick style chips (just a personal preference), but I would go back.
