I had the pleasure of taking my 3-year-old daughter out to dinner at this amazing place and I must say, it was an absolute delight! Right from the moment we walked in, the staff made her feel like a VIP, allowing her to choose her own table and engaging with her in the most wonderful way. They treated her like a little adult and gave her the chance to practice her communication skills.And let me tell you, the food and cocktails were delish. Even my 3-year-old was impressed and she's a pretty tough critic (just ask her teddy bear).Overall, this experience was a 5-star one and we can't wait to come back for more. In fact, my daughter keeps asking when we can go again, so I guess you could say...

Absolutely fell in love with the food! I went with a large party of 12 and everything was delish. We started with ceviche, jalapeño poppers and Mexican elote. We had 3 shareable parrilladas and one Piña al Pastor. The shrimp, carne asada, chicken and veggies in the parrillada were all seasoned well. We ordered extra sides of quesadillas and guacamole. For dessert, we were too full but the server bragged so much about their drunken cake that we took one home. It’s definitely worth the hype! We will be back!
I visited this restaurant with my Latina girlfriend, and we were thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food! It quickly became our favorite spot in DuPage. The cocktail menu is extensive, spanning eight pages and featuring just about every drink you can think of. The ambiance was lovely, and once we were seated, the service was excellent. This restaurant deserves to be busier because the food is delicious and the service is outstanding. They offer three types of salsa and queso for my husband, who is allergic to cilantro. Even with only two servers on staff, they are very efficient. The food quality exceeds expectations. As for kid-friendliness, I've noticed many families dining here. Parking was also a breeze; we had no trouble finding a spot.
This is a lovely restaurant that not only has good food but also delicious drinks. The owner is welcoming to everyone and supports local nonprofits, which is a plus. If you haven't visited El Gran Agave yet, don't hesitate to check it out. The Guayaba and Blood Orange and Cantarito are my favorite drinks paired with a Tampiqueña or Steak Molcajete. My kids love the rice.
We had dinner here last night for the first time. It was amazing! The drinks were some of the best I’ve had , the food was great and the service was fast and friendly. It has a great outdoor dining area which was a delightful way to spend a summer evening! We will be back for sure.Food: 5/5
