This restaurant became my favorite after my first visit! The staff was very friendly helpful in explaining the food and then sent me home with a delicious chicken breast stew plus three excellent sides, only to be outdone the following week when I returned for their chimichurri chicken. Wow the pesto sauce was incredible. Then things got worse for me when I tried their Thursday night only special a Puerto Rican Lasagna (spicy beef, plaintains a blend of cheeses) which was so good that I really told them to save me one every Thursday. Hi,I’ve been trying to stop here for the longest. I finally was able to go today. So excited to get some Spanish food. I ordered it to go. When I got home I was so disappointed. The food was horrible. The pasteles were hard. One of the pasteles was not wrapped and disgusting. The tostones were hard, no flavor. My Puerto Rican puppy did not want to even eat it. I will never go here again. All that food wasted, went to the garbage. I should have known better, no one will ever come close to my mom’s cooking.A very sad and hungry Latina.
Found this sweet gem whilst perusing for a cool restaurant off RT 80 before we drove into PA. Never been to Denville even when I lived in NJ so seeing downtown Denville was an added bonus. Such a cute area! But seriously the humongous portions of arroz con gandules with crispy chicken and pork was to die for!! Don 't pass up the beef empanadas because those were extra delish . Helpful hint eat half your dinner and take the rest home. Then indulge is some tasty dessert at the attached bakery next door Mara 's. You 're welcome
Wow! The food was incredible. I tried it 3 weeks ago and have been back every week and so far there are 3 delicious entrees I can not do without. That chicken stew was unbelievable , as was the chicken in the green pesto like sauce. Both dishes were packed with really tender tasty chicken. But my favorite is their Thursday special a meat, plaintain,and cheese lasagna that I told them to hold one for me every Thursday! This place is GREAT!

Good food to bad it's run by people who don't know what they are doing called in order at 2pm was told 230 for pickup get there on time waited 2O minutes more to get food. Happens every time I get food here. Thing is most of the food is cooked already sitting in trays to be portioned out for dishes yet Every time there's a wait to just scoop already made products into a container
I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant with their delicious food, affordable prices, and generous portion sizes. I highly recommend trying their platos. I will definitely be returning. The only downside is the limited street parking, especially during peak hours. However, the attached bakery is a great added bonus to visiting this place.
I am thrilled that this restaurant serving authentic Puerto Rican dishes has opened in Denville. The food is incredibly delicious and the portions are generous.
Food is absolutely amazing. Best Puerto Rican food outside of Puerto Rico. It's like electric chair food. Would be my last meal.
