On a daytrip to Ribadesella, we visited this place only because it had quite good ratings on Tripadvisor one of the best in its part of town . Walking in, we noticed we were the only customers and that it was not quite what we expected from the elegant pictures of food and enthusiastic, positive reviews. Feeling obliged to stay, now that we were already sitting down proved a fatal mistake. Made to feel very welcome by the staff who spoke very little English. Food was well presented and tasty. We had the chorizo and cider on both of our two visits. Very reasonably priced.
Although the restaurant was a bit soul less as it is a bit early in the season the proprietor made us welcome. We had prawns salad and squid and both were cooked very well.
