The place seems like a bar, with a really nice view of playa Blanca and the surrounding areas. After visiting and stopping for a meal in February we couldn’t wait to come back. The fried rabbit was the best rabbit I ever had in my life. In February we had glad which unfortunately was unavailable at this time, which is unfortunate but it’s a good sign as it shows the freshness of the local products. You wouldn’t expect the food to be so good in this place, but it is. Topped with amazing views.
After a hike from Puerto Calero to this village we stopped here for lunch. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Unfortunately some things on the menu were finished. We ordered prawns and octopus which were delicious lunch-sized dishes. We asked for brown bread but were given white which wasn’t an issue (may have been a translation error). The chocolate and orange cake was a creamy soft cake with the traditional “jelly” like top and was really tasty.
Visited this restaurant a few days ago and had a superb 3 course meal on the terrace over looking Playa Blanca and the southern coast of Lanzarote. The Cherne was cooked to perfection and we ordered an additional plate of vegetables to share which were equally good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return.
La comida llegó en un tiempo razonable y estaba bien preparada. El ambiente y las vistas del lugar son tan magníficas como el pueblo. Como nota negativa, hay una camada de gatos sarnosos (hasta 5) que se suben junto a la mesa y te atosigan para que les des de comer. Todo con el beneplácito de los regentes del negocio. Comida típica canaria con vistas inmejorables. La atención rápida y eficaz. Pedimos papas arrugas, queso frito, cabrito y boquerones, todo buenísimo. El pollito uruguayo es una locura. Uno de esos sitios de los que sales más que satisfecho. Sin duda para repetir.
El joven Zacarías, atención, sonrisa y amabilidad de 10!! Recomendaría tomar algo y comer el queso frito que está delicioso. Volveremos y cumpliremos!
