I recently visited a restaurant and tried the momeljas y arroz amarillo, milanesa with kartoffelmaisch, earthberry bellini, flan with dulce de leche, and the alfajor. The main courses were fantastic, but I was not as impressed with the desserts. The price for the meal was very reasonable, the atmosphere was wonderful, the service was exceptional, and the momeljas were just as good as their chimichurri. Overall, I had a great experience at this restaurant.
Loved the skirt steak here! A very friendly restaurant/bar serving great stakes at reasonable prices. We were surprised by live music, which was very good! So good we even got up to dance at the behest of other patrons who were very welcoming. The highlight food wise was definitely the Entraña with fries. Just a really well treated piece of meat. I would highly recommend giving this place a try, especially on a thursday night.
I was extremely disappointed with my grilled chicken and salad dish instead of rice at the restaurant. The chicken fillet was very thin and overcooked. The salad only had romaine lettuce, tomatoes, and onions without any cucumbers, carrots, or garnishes. If the salad is going to be so simple, it should not be served as a replacement for a side dish. Perhaps other dishes are better, but I felt like I wasted $25.
El Ñandu is my favorite Argentinian restaurant. The beautiful, artsy space and amazing empanadas, churrasco encebollado, flan, sangria and great service...I've been going to El Ñandú for years and it is always consistently good. They even have live music on the weekends! A very quaint, cozy place with phenomenal food make this the BEST Argentinian restaurant in Chicago. Yum, yum, yum. ? Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Visiting from out of town and stumbled upon this restaurant as we were in the area. Good food although those around us (larger parties who ordered after us) were served before us. Drinks were a hit and loved all the decor. Please remember to order dessert!Food: 5/5
The restaurant offers delicious Argentinean-style food, with a particular highlight being the empanadas. The pricing is moderate to high, but the ambience is nice and the restrooms are clean. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant.
The restaurant has just the right amount of creativity and flair. The steaks and desserts are delicious. The sides could use a bit more attention to detail. Overall, it is a pleasant dining experience.
