El Nuevo Mundo Market, Bakery Cafe serves the most authentic Cuban sandwich you'll find in Southern California. They also offer pasteles, Puerto Rican empanadas, and lechon. The prices are affordable, allowing you to enjoy generous portions without overspending. This market carries a broader selection of Caribbean products than many others. Parking is limited to street spots, and they close at 7 PM. The area isn’t great for strolling or showing off. I’m excited to come back in December to try their alcapurria and sample more from the menu.
