This property is located at the head of a picturesque area full of interesting and unusual restaurants and shops in front of the Caen Castle. and the service was friendly and warm. actually the radiators on the patio were perhaps a little too hot. but only a minor disadvantage. we enjoyed wine, service and food. English was spoken and received without any unfavourable comments, and a menu in English was provided.
We discovered the restaurant by strolling in the vauguous street. We took the menu at 19 euros (2 adults, children 13 and 16 years old). The food was correct. if the price of a litre of gaseous water was 3.7 euros on the card, it was charged 4.9 euros. after a complaint, it was corrected.
a good choice to eat at the end of the row of the restaurant. They've got a good sardine rillette. for entries, the duck magret with a delicious sauce and the lotte were very well prepared. the service was fast and the server was pleasant. I'll be back here for dinner.
