this place is the worst. I've been here for years, but lately, the hired obviously don't seem to want to work because they always give attitude to the costumers, today was just the cherry up, we went to lunch for the office and one of my coworkers was accused of stealing an avocado because he placed it in his shy jacket pocket, because both hands were obviously filled with the food he was carrying. At this particular location I ordered shredded beef, mixed rice and boiled yuca with iced tea and it was 14 change tip and tax. I ordered the EXACT same platter at the SW 8th st location and paid $6.95. Also prices at this location are not posted conspicuously as well as other locations. I ordered the guarapo (sugarcane juice) and my friend ordered the maracuya juice. 16 oz cup of juice is $3, which is a good portion for me. They make the guarapo right after you order, so it takes a while to get your order but it is very fresh. I appreciate that they add only a little ice to the cup. The lady who took our order was very out of it, she gave my friend the wrong juice but eventually she got it right. The place was crowded on a Sunday afternoon. You can order from the window outside. Awesome!! That's what I say about this page. Good is delicious, and you get so much food for the price that it just doesn't seem right!! I love the fact that I can pay for a plate of food at a very good price, and know that I'm eating two or maybe three times from that serving!! I definitely recommend this for the big eaters!!
order online (already paid.) I am at the specific time at location and place. I had to wait 10 minutes for my lunch. ridiculous that I saw 5 ppl coming to me, ordered to go and quickly came out. I do not understand the advantage of online ordering and prepayment.
This is the third time in a row that we go for chicharrones and they were under cooked.The skin are soft and soggy.The only reason I won't return them is simply not worth the gas money, or the traffic hassle.They can keep them from now on. $31.87 worth.
