We had a lovely night's stay in Ca La Flora in Banyoles in June 2022. The wholesome welcome that we received from the owner, Carmen, was wonderful. The house, which is a converted old farmhouse, was very quaint. We were presented with a very nice bedroom which was large, clean and had everything working WiFi, air con, TV etc, including a super strong shower. The beds were good and we slept well. The following morning we had a gorgeous breakfast of freshly squeezed orange juice, a lovely panini and great coffee, including a decaf. Charming and romantic pati but it ended there . Rude, cold and brusque owner behaved unacceptably. I ordered the roast chicken salad with fried mushroom, honey and rosemary . Instead what I got was salad from a packet with cold canned mushroom and cold pre cooked processed minced) sandwich chicken on top ? No hint of honey nor rosemary . I kindly asked to change it for another salad . The owner said I would have to pay for it . After arguing the merits she grabbed the dish and didn 't offer me anything else to eat so I had to sit and watch my family eat . I offered to pay . Restaurant times in Catalunya can be confusing, especially in the evenings. We did not have the normal Spanish 3 course lunch since we prefer to have our main meal at night but this is not the norm in Spain so we were hungry by early evening. We struggled to find an open restaurant and stumbled across Ca La Flora, which is both guest house and restaurant. Friendly owner, delicious bottle of Cava and a burger and caprese salad that were excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and the vibe.
He estado hospedado un par de veces y estoy encantado. Un lugar muy tranquilo para desconectar y descansar. Muy próximo al lago y centro de Banyoles. Los desayunos muy completos y buenos. La propietaria es muy servicial y cercana. Lo recomiendo totalmente.

Sitio muy agradable. Bien situado y cerca del centro y del estanque. El ama es muy atenta y cuida todos los detalles para que la estancia sea satisfactoria. Habitaciones y comida fantásticos. Muy recomendable.
Excelente, empezando por la ubicación inmejorable, estás a 5 minutos de todo a pie. Las trabajadoras muy amables y simpáticas, además se adaptan a la hora de hacer el check-in, volveré seguro!
