I only called in with my wife after a lovely meal in another establishment. I asked for a Bacardi and coke. When it came it tasted awful. So bad i couldn 't drink it.!!!! I knew it wasn 't Bacardi. I complained and the waiter immediately apologised and said that they had no 'genuine ' Bacardi.!!!! He took the 'dodgy ' drink away and returned some 5 minutes later with what looked like the same drink. But this time he had a bottle of real Bacardi on the tray also. We had eaten the night before somewhere else and had received such awful service and food we were wondering if that is what to expect on the island as its the beginning of our two week stay we were very pleasantly surprised and our faith restored. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly welcome, good banter and non pushy service together with lovely reasonably priced food and beer. We had the prawns which came with chips and a lovely salad. Toilets clean and lovely position overlooking the beach. Will definitely be back if we are passing again.
Lovely beach front restaurant. Very friendly staff and drinks were good! Aperol spritz was amazing. Food delicious and fresh hubby had seafood pizza and I had baked Dorado fish. There is a wait for food but a fabulous location to sit and look at the beach and like I say it was delicious when it came.
Superb food, great service and decent prices. Tony, the owner, is a real character and knows how to look after his guests. Highly recommended. We've been coming to Gran Tatajal 2-3 times a year for the past 8 years and always look forward to eating here.

We ate here once, had to wait a long time for the food and when it came it was edible at best, friendly enough staff just pricey for the quality, in my opinion not worth a visit.

Lugar agradable. Comimos en terraza, muy tranquilos. La persona q nos atendió nos recomendó perfectamente. Comida muy rica.
