I placed an order in advance for pickup, and I was informed that it would be ready. I arrived 10 minutes after the specified time and inquired about my order from the waiter/bartender, who was quite rude in telling me to wait because it wasn't ready yet. I ended up waiting an additional 20 minutes. When I finally asked about my order again, I noticed the waiter was eating; he even licked his fingers and then handed me my food. They definitely need to improve their health training. Once I got home and opened my order of three saltado de pollo plates, I was disappointed to find that each one contained only two small pieces of chicken. I won't be returning to this restaurant.
The waitress who seated us after opening took our drink and food orders, said she would be back to check on us, and never came back. We politely called over another member of the waitstaff, and explained to them our issue. She constantly interrupted us and tried to talk over us.I'm not upset about the hour-long wait for my food, though. I'm upset that after taking our order (I was with my sister), waitstaff just disappeared. No one came to tell us anything. No one checked on us. Out of everyone there, we two were either ignored or forgotten for over an hour.
Absolutely delicious and authentic Peruvian food! The Lomo Combinado was amazing. Tender steak and grilled veggies over a bed of beans and rice. Make sure to get the pisco sour -the signature drink of Peru! The staff is super friendly, and Antonio, theowner, is one of the nicest guys ever. Can 't recommend this place enough!
First time here, there was a short wait for a table. It took a while before the server came to take our order. My husband enjoyed his meal. The chicken and rice I had was ok. It was very hot inside the restaurant! I was sweating in there.

I was introduced to this place over 17 years ago and drive pretty far for this awesome food! Nothing compares anywhere in Southern CA! Thanks for staying busy and staying open for so long! We will continue coming!
The food is genuine and delectable. It's an excellent spot for gathering with friends and family. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I highly recommend this place.
