I typically don't like to give 1-star reviews, but after 6 or 7 disappointing experiences in a row, I feel it's important to share with others. The food has been consistently missing items and some dishes that should be hot are served cold. Despite asking for napkins and utensils, they were not provided. The service is slow, the drive-thru attendants were rude, and overall, there are no compelling reasons to return to this location. I usually enjoy El Pollo Loco, but not in Newhall.
We went to El Pollo at the top of Lyons Ave and ordered by the ride thru. I asked for extra dressing for my Tostada salad and didn't get it. They barely put more in the containers. And there were tiny black bugs, maybe gnats, in our drinks. Great!
I got a cured, dry chicken family meal for the third time, so this place in newhall strikes me. I picked it up at 15 o'clock, so if they still insist on going here, not to go this time to this place....must be left by lunch.
Absolutely how I remembered it! Aside from the covid forced to use the drive thru.... So good to get to have some of the delicious food again. Haven't been too California in 16 years. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The restaurant is okay, but the drinks I ordered (Sprite, Coke) were not made with syrup. The hot chocolate was also disappointing, as it tasted like warm water with sugar added.
As far as the drive-thru they're pretty quick, the food's good, but the line. Wow. The drive-thru line is always 10 cars deep at least. Other than that place is great
This is a great location in El Pollo. The food is consistently good and the staff is courteous and friendly and offers great customer service.
