El Potro Mexican Grill

The restaurant is beautiful, but they need to improve the costumer service, we came to have some drinks and food at night. And the food show up first then the drinks, the waiter never come to check on the food or the drinks, one of the drinks that we had was strong so we wanted to add something else to make it sweeter and we didn't find our waiter so we had to call another waitress . we ended up no drinking the drinks because no one came to check on us and they charged us for the drinks that we didn't drink, we ask for the manager and he wasn't really helpful but came with an attitude and rudeness.

What I received was boiled, unseasoned chicken on a bed of lettuce, topped with just a dollop of sour cream. It was bland and completely devoid of the essential components that make a taco salad enjoyable—no tomatoes, onions, avocado, or guacamole, and absolutely no spice. I can't speak for the rest of the menu, but I would advise skipping the taco salad unless you want to be let down. Even the free chips and salsa weren't worth it. The service was just okay. That's my rant! I'll be heading back to East Boston, where they truly know how to make a taco salad!

El Potro was an unexpectedly delightful find. It has the classic Mexican ambiance we've been searching for. The chips and salsa were spot on, and the guacamole tasted incredibly fresh. We tried the pork tacos and an enchilada, both served in generous portions and bursting with flavor. The churros, filled with dulce de leche, were among the best I've ever tasted. The service was quite good, and our food arrived promptly. We will certainly be returning time and time again.

The staff were friendly, but the margaritas tasted diluted and lacked flavor. After sharing a pitcher, my two friends hardly felt tipsy. The guacamole was bland, and most of our meals looked like they were served in a 1-star restaurant. This was particularly disappointing considering the high ratings. The service was excellent. I was debating between the spinach enchiladas or tacos al carbon. The bartender told me to get the spinach enchiladas, and if I was still hungry, he would have one taco al carbon made for me. This was awesome because the spinach enchiladas were on point and reminded me of a Tex-Mex in Houston called Jalapeños on Kirby, which no longer exist.

I wasn't able to sample the food since we left before our order was taken. We waited 8 minutes for someone to come and take our drink and food orders. We felt that if the service started off like that, it would likely only get worse from there. When we left, there were six employees just standing around in the front.

We stopped in for a few drinks and some appetizers, sitting at the bar. It wasn't crowded at all. The bartender was attentive at first, but frequently disappeared. The chicken quesadilla was delicious, and the Sangria was great as well. However, my husband ordered a margarita that he didn't enjoy.

wow! The Corn tortilla tacos AMAZING!!!!!! The meat so ful of flavor. I go to Mexican restaurants all the time. You need to try this place. The sauce that comes with the tacos is soooooo gooooood Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Amazing food! The tortilla chicken soup is one of the best I ever had . Food is fresh and delicious, great service, friendly wait staff. Highly recommended restaurant to visit !

Food was really good!!! Right across from our hotel and worth the short trip over. Everything tasted fresh
