El Primo came highly recommended by a Mexican friend of a friend. I I wasn't prepared for the experience but certainly enjoyed it. We entered and found ourselves inside of a very densely packed (customers and merchandise) eclectic grocery store with not only food but large religious statues everywhere. For whatever reason, there was also at least one Spiderman statue. (Go figure) We continued to walk through the crowded grocery store and lo and behold, found ourselves in a very different world. Wow! I didn't expect to find some of the best Mexican food I've ever had tucked away in a random strip mall at the back of a grocery store. The atmosphere is casual and the decor is vibrant. The prices for the food are very reasonable, and everything we tried was packed with flavor and incredibly fresh. I ordered the fish tacos, which were delightful and served as the perfect base for their various delicious salsas. I absolutely loved the giant salsa bar—I'll definitely be back to sample everything they offer! When my burrito arrived, I took it to my car but couldn't resist starting to eat it right away. It was fantastic, featuring a wonderful mix of ingredients in perfect proportions. The flavorful chorizo, lettuce, avocado, roasted poblanos, beans, cheese... I might be forgetting some elements, but they all came together beautifully. Wrapped in a fresh flour tortilla, it was amazing. If I can call it a sandwich, it might be the best I've ever had, and it was constructed so well that I barely needed a napkin. The first half was more than enough for me during the drive home, and while the other half wasn't quite as perfect a couple of hours later, it was still delicious. I can't wait to go back!
A hidden gem! You will find this great authentic Mexican restaurant tucked behind a grocery store (which also has amazing produce and Mexican foods, snacks, etc)! I had no idea it was there until I happen to go inside the grocery store for a few things. I go here at least once a month. The food is super delicioso and seasoned to perfection. I don't understand how every time I ask for my order to have no mayo and no beans, they always manage to add extra of both. I stopped going there because I got frustrated, but after three years, I decided to give them another chance. Unfortunately, they made the same mistake again. Food: 1/5.

I absolutely love this hidden gem! The food is always delicious, though it is slightly salty for my taste. However, the flavors are incredible, and I would definitely return.

This is not a Barilla Taco! Just tell people you don’t have it!! They gave me steak and that’s it. I had to add everything else. Steak was so dry!! Barilla is not steak ??
