Welp..This was not the resturant for me..The hostess start it off with a less than professional demeanor..The server was the best thing about the resturant but played bait games by recommend the most expensive plate on the menu..The food was terrible, small portions, overly salted, and just did not taste pleasing to the palette..One of the bartenders tried to intimidate me with a stare down, grown up champ..Life is not that serious and whatever aggression concerns you have handle them before clicking in on someone's clock.. let's play fair, I just want to get a bite to eat and was trying to intimidate or provoke..I just did not feel safe after that interaction..I will not return..the food wa...
Upon entering the restaurant, my first impression was positive, but that quickly changed. My partner and I were new to Mansfield and were looking for a late-night dining option after setting up our RV. It was a date night and we were excited to have dinner and drinks. We were impressed with the ambiance when we arrived and one of the bartenders offered us a seat at the bar. However, we were later informed that the kitchen was already closed and they could not prepare our meal, even though the restaurant was open until 11pm. This lack of communication was disappointing. I tried this restaurant out for the first time with my fiancé and his family. We walked in and it immediately smelt like a sewer. We sat down ordered drinks and the white queso. The chips themselves were super stale and the chicharrones were hard as a rock. We couldn’t even eat them. My fiancé and I shared a plate of the tacos al carbon. When the food came out it was a tiny plate of 2 street tacos with rice and beans. We ordered double rice and no beans but we didn’t say anything because we just wanted to get the experience over with. Our waiter was okay. I thoroughly enjoyed my carne guisada at the restaurant! However, my wife's enchiladas took a while to arrive even after reminding the server twice, causing her to eat after everyone else in our group had finished for 15 minutes. To top it off, they charged us for her meal without an apology. I provided feedback through OpenTable but never received a response. I assumed they would be responsive since they asked for feedback. Large restaurant that’s good for bigger parties. There’s a covered patio area with live music sometimes as well as an upstairs dining area. We visited on a Friday evening and there was free valet offered as well as a bounce house in front of the restaurant. The food was good, though I think service on the second floor differs a little from the first level dining as we were given plastic cups with water and our tortilla chips were in small paper food service trays.
My friends and I went there Friday night and had the BEST experience EVER!!! Leslie was such a sweetheart and amazing waitress. She made us feel so comfortable and was so funny. THE QUESO was chef's kiss ? , so delicious. Please check this restaurant out, it is so amazing!!!
The food was soo good when it first opened. I would take everyone I knew. Over time it changed, such a shame. Food has been horrible ever since. Miss how it was originally.
