This was one of the Tapas Bars we enjoyed the most during our stay in Haro. While Beethoven points with creative, unusual Tapas, this place here points with down to earth homecooked meals. The owner and staff make you feel welcome and at home. Really friendly folks and good for a chat. Dogs are allowed inside and out and there are a good number of tables inside (and upstairs). But we took a table outside be prepared to wait for one on weekends. But it's well worth the wait. First time we went we had some shrimp tapas, fried anchovies and spanish tortilla. O el rebozado. Muy curioso bar de tapeo, junto al mismo ayuntamiento de Haro. Toda suerte de pinchos rebozados, incluyendo unas manitas rebozadas. Pero la palma se la lleva las piparras rebozadas. Auténtico lujo. El boqueron vitoriano de la Rioja. Sensacional. Del trato del personal, una exquisitez. De noche, siéntese en el poyete de enfrente, apoye el brazo en el travesaño de madera, tómese un Bikaña o un Cubillo. Y ahí te las dan todas. Jo, que agradable...
En Haro hay mucha opción gastronómica. Si callejeasdas con El remolino y Fidel te lo pone fácil. Te aconseja y facilita todo. Mi mujer y yo: dos pinchos de la barra,unas bravas,una cazuela de morros (morro en salsa),dos copas de vino y una sin alcohol de tirador. Los pinchos riquísimos,la cazuela de morros espectacular y las bravas una muy buena ración para 2 muy ricas. Sin duda para comer de picoteo...lo recomendamos sin lugar a dudas.
IMPRESIONANTE!!! Y pq escribo esto, pq lo es! Y pq mi pareja no paro de decir impresionante, mientras se comía las albóndigas, si van a Haro es un sitio al que sin duda deben de ir a comer. Además tienen un caldo muy rico, un pincho de tortilla espectacular y un pincho de penca muy curioso y bueno que nunca habíamos probado! Así que ya saben...IMPRESIONANTE!!

A great small family ran bar, in the Haro Historic Plaza. There is limited seating inside, but there is a window to the outside seating area. Very friendly and helpful service while none native Spanish speakers. The food was good, the wine was better.
Un 5 porque no hay más, gente amable, calidad de bebida y comida y buenos precios. Muy amables y permisivos con los perretes dejandonos entrar incluso. Un placer, volveremos.

El mejor bar de la herradura. Trato estupendo muy amables, cercanos. Muy bien ambiente. 100% recomendado.
