This was our first time at El Rincon and it definitely won’t be our last! The restaurant had a lovely relaxed atmosphere and Carlos was very welcoming and made us feel very at home. I have been learning Spanish for nearly a year and decided that it was time to practice outside of the classroom. I was nervous to speak for the first time, and knowing that I was making silly mistakes, but Carlos and the young waiter were great, thank you so much guys The food was incredible. Everything we had was delicately seasoned and so beautifully cooked. We had tapas to start, I had Gambon en Salsa Blanca and my husband had Higado Encebollado which is liver in a lovely rich wine sauce, I didn’t know that...
Joe and family always make us feel like we are part of the family. Always such a relaxed atmosphere which adds to the enjoyment of a tapas menu IMO. Food was phenomenal from start to finish and there wasn’t a blinked eyelid when the family next to us wished to share their Birthday cake with us for desert! (They happily served slices to our table). Potato’s bravas to die for and pork, Hake, prawns and muscles to live for. Never been let down. And as a local cab driver I have never heard of anyone being let down. Highly recommended!
Not the first time I’ve been to this family run restaurant over the past decades but I have never left a review which I am putting right. The atmosphere and friendliness of the owner and his family is only surpassed by the excellence of the food which has never been disappointing. We are very lucky to have this restaurant in our local area and I would highly recommend it to those who have not yet tried it trust me you will have a wonderful experience and do take advantage of his knowledge of excellent spanish wines.
Incredible, authentic food and drink with attentive service throughout the meal. All the staff, both waiters and chefs, are so accommodating, making sure everyone is looked after and is able to experience true Spanish taste through their dishes! Recommend the Paella Valenciana! Yet another fantastic meal with an amazing bottle of Cava. The food was cooked to perfection, the Joe was helpful as always and created a brilliant atmosphere.
