The food was not that bad, although I expected more, Peruvian food is very delicious and in this restaurant it was only good. I ordered rice with seafood, the bad thing about this dish is that they put a whole shrimp (maybe to decorate) but, shrimp are known as cleaners, they eat all the in their habitat, when my husband tried to Breaking it is as if I had ruptured the intestine, black, bad-smelling water ran down my plate and that almost ruined my dinner. On the other hand, the waitress just left the food and came back to us when we finished eating, she didn't ask us if we needed anything else or if everything was okay. I am a waitress so I know what good service should be like. Very friend...
My friend urgently needed to use the restroom, so we decided to stop by El Tayta Café. Unfortunately, we were informed that the restroom was only available for customers, so we ended up having to sit down and order something. The dessert was delightful, and the drinks were excellent—I even had the chance to try Chicha Morada, a traditional Peruvian drink, for the first time, and it was amazing. Overall, we had a good experience, but I would kindly suggest that the owners reconsider their policy of requiring a food order just to use the restroom.
Went at lunch, they had a great lunch menu for $16.99, app, main and a drink. It was outstanding and great value. Will definitely return to explore more of their menu.

Very expensive, a stuffed potato starter $14, exaggerated. A caesar salad that is just lettuce $2. Exaggerated!!!!
The ceviche is to die for here! I highly recommend it if you're craving delicious Peruvian food!
