We stopped in for the first time on a Sunday evening; noticed the outdoor dead winter planters on the sidewalk, and the bag of ice melt it's been 3 months since winter ended, not a good sign. Inside, service for seating and ordering was prompt. Immediately noticed that the tabletop was excessively sticky, however, which was a huge turnoff. When your arms, napkins, and even your cell phone stick to the table, it is an issue. Is it clean? Is it a buildup of grime or cleaner? Either way, not acceptable. Chips and salsa were hot and fresh. The food is absolutely wonderful and me and my partner visit often. I always get the taquitos mexicanos and very rarely are they anything but amazing. However the service is less than subpar. Often when I come in they seem annoyed that I have the audacity to even be there. The server (usually the same one every time i come in) is cold and brief and very curt. I always tip well regardless in the hopes that his attitude would be better but it never is. My sister has also had the exact same expirence with the same waiter as me a few times. Disappointing.
Recommended. I attended this restaurant with a large party from my office today. Even though they were understaffed for the unexpected large group of customers due to a corporate event in the area, the staff was still very friendly and accommodating. The food was good and the prices were very reasonable.
Good Mexican restaurant. As I expect from Mexican restaurants, the atmosphere was very lively and staffs were welcoming. Food was just what I expected. I visited there for lunch, but next time, I have to go there for dinner with beer!

This was my first visit to El Toro. Four of us eat together. The menu is great; so, it was tough decide what to get. All of the food was great. My daughter said that her chicken tortilla soup was the best she ever had.
This place makes me so happy ! The food is amazing .! My favorite is the food that comes in a pineapple and the mango margaritas are the best every time ! The service is fast and exceptional !
What more can you ask for. Really good food, really good drinks and really good atmosphere. Monster margaritas and street tacos are my favorite.
I love this place. Very friendly staff and never disappoint with food, prices are reasonable. I always feel very welcome.
