Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. A hidden gem in Hackensack for a quick bite. On a trip back home, I was craving Turkish food. After a quick Yelp search, we landed on El Turco. Atmosphere: Quaint, quiet, and clean while we were there. As we came on a weeknight, the restaurant did not have a lot of patrons which was to our advantage. Service: Service was very good. The food was amazing. There is no other Turkish cuisine that is comparable to El Turco in the area. The atmosphere is clean and well lit, and the staff is friendly. I love the authenticity of the staff as well, which really makes you feel like you are in a truly authentic restaurant. If I had one downfall, it would be the location, because I truly feel Main Street in Hackensack doesn't bring the attention to the restaurant that it deserves. It is 100% worth the trip! Highly Recommend!
This restaurant is a great place with friendly servers, perfect for family get-togethers. All the dishes were delicious, with the Kunefe dessert being a standout. The only downside is that street parking can be a bit challenging, especially during weekends or evenings. Overall, the service was excellent, with a rating of 5, and the atmosphere was pleasant. The price per person was between $20-30 for dinner. Paid street parking is available, but it can be difficult to find a spot.

So highly impressed with everything! Everything we ordered was top quality, absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcome! Thank you and we look forward to dining again. We have already told many of our friends and family and will continue to tell everyone we know about El Turco!!
Tried this place for healthy date night and we absolutely loveddddd it! The price is perfect, this platter is usually $45 and we both ate and had left overs! We were also taking our time, loved that we didn't feel rushed. At one point we did feel a little neglected but when we ordered dessert they gave us free tea for the wait. Will definitely go back!
I love this place. We stopped here after shopping nearby. The food was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented and delicious. The service was impeccable and so friendly. We will definitely be back. You must try the sour cherry juice- really good. Glad we had all the desserts too ????????????????????????
By far my fav Turkish spot ever. Amazing staff amazing food and it's BYOB this is a must if you are in the neighborhood. I come from Yonkers just to eat here. They have catered events for me and my friends this is by far one of my fav places
