We were so happy to come back after 6 months home in Scotland! Everything was just as we remembered. A busy, happy, lively lunchtime. The menu del día was excellent value and the staff really made an effort to understand my mediocre Spanish, especially taking time to clarify what our req were (2 gluten free “coeliacos” . One of us had the standard 3 courses, one had 2 first courses and one had only main course. All of this was accommodated with a smile. Most importantly, everything was delicious!! One point tips/propinas, can only be paid in cash/en efectivo. so next time we’ll bring cash they deserve it!! Service was okay, even tho only one person understood english the people there were understanding and tried to communicate with us what we wanted. Cant say much good about the food though. Im kind of afraid of a grilled chicken that is served 3 minutes after ordering. And most of the flavor was completely overwhelmed by the intense flavor of garlic sauce. But I cant be too bothered about it since the menu including drink cost only 13€. But if you are in a mood for meat or even a salad and dont need seafood id recommend going the extra 100m to visit the Aires burger bar. Legendary food there. Burgers ranging from 10 to 20€ and salads even cheaper.
My family and I have been going for a long time and without a doubt this last time a week ago was quite a disaster, I think they are covering too many tables and in the end the service is quite slow and careless with the dishes taking time to come out when before they were faster, the arroz a banda, which was what I like to order the most, this last time left a lot to be desired... I'm sorry to put this review but I think their level has dropped a lot and on top of that the price of the menu has risen a lot in my opinion. Lots of food , starter was a bought in pasta but was nice, main was chicken swimming in grease and overloaded in salt , fries were wet and cold with oil...
