Started out excited about San Antonio -based mexican food in Germany. Apparently the chef has never been to San Antonio and has never eaten mexican food in Texas or Mexico. Chips and Queso: a bowl of crushed tortilla chips with cold, runny,canned nacho cheese sauce and one sliced jalapeno. I ordered a Burrito Pollo, my wife had the Enchilada Pollo and our friends got the Beef Fajitas for two. My wife and I got the exact same meal. A large flour tortilla, with meat, bell peppers, onions and zucchini with a tiny little dollop of canned cheese on top. No sauce for the Enchilada . It didn 't taste bad, but failed our expectations badly. Our friends Fajitas were served sizzling, on an iron skille...
Had a nice dinner at El Zapata with my wife. We were looking for something different than typical dining in/around Böblingen, Germany . This Mexican style restaurant was interesting and turned out to a decent place. For a Mexican restaurant in Germany, we weren't expecting much. A few major errors dropped our opinion rating of them though. We were waiting forever to get service. We actually had to go up to the bar to get someone's attention. They got our drink order completely wrong. Then the food took an extremely long time to prepare. I ordered the chicken burrito platter and my wife got the chicken enchilada platter. Pretty basic meal, so we expected quick service and little complications...
Ich war sehr überrascht, wie gut das Essen es ist. Ich bin froh zu sagen, dass ich ausgezeichnete mexikanische Lebensmittel in Deutschland gefunden habe! Die Fajitas und Enchiladas waren so gut oder besser als die meisten Orte in den USA. Die Getränke und das Essen kamen sehr schnell heraus und die Nachos waren auch sehr gut. Der Unterschied ist, dass sie echten Käse nicht die gefälschten Sachen verwenden. Ich empfehle diesen Ort sehr. Machen Sie auch eine Reservierung und sie öffnen sich um 1700, nicht 1730.
Ziemlich gut...für Tex Mex in Deutschland. Ich hatte die Hühnerfajitas, die viel Geschmack hatte. Ein bisschen schwer auf den Paprika. K hatte das Rindfleisch Burrito, das auch vor Ort war. Die Chips und queso waren nicht richtig, der Käsetauchgang war sehr dünn und wasserig. Insgesamt ein großartiger Ort, auch gute Getränkespezialitäten.
