We stayed at the hotel for one night with our two dogs. The positives were the friendly welcome, delicious lunch, and spacious room and bathroom that were clean. The staff even made arrangements for our dogs to be comfortable on the bed. The continental breakfast selection was also very good. However, there were some negatives to our stay. The double bed was uncomfortable and appeared to be broken and hastily repaired with a piece of pallet wood. There was a strange smell in the room that we could only describe as a mix of dampness and disinfectant. Additionally, we had a concerning incident where a man claimed we were in his room, as he had stayed there for two weeks prior to our arrival bu...
I stayed at this hotel for an ice hockey game nearby. The room was a bit small but adequate for a couple. The room was very nice with a balcony/seating area. It would probably be even nicer in the summer, but was a bit cold in the winter. Dinner was enjoyable and served in a large room with a few locals present, which is always a good sign. Breakfast is continental and laid out in the corridor, which may seem strange at first, but you can help yourself and take it back to your room. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.
2nd vist to the elbow room. Room we were allocated was very large and comfortable, bathroom was gorgeous with a big bath tub and separate shower. We had dinner steak pie was lovely as was the lasagne. Remained in hotel for the evening entertainmane, staff are very friendly as are the locals. Breakfast is a continental which you help yourself to in the corridor outside the rooms an excellent idea. This is our go to place when we are in kirkcaldy
Stayed here Friday to Monday as we travelled to watch the ice hockey. The room had everything we needed to enjoy the weekend. Continental breakfast provided was lovely, the food served in the restaurant was fantastic highly recommend and the bar was a nice place to sit and have a pint. Staff were fab and welcoming will definitely be back next year!

My latest visit to the Elbow Room was just as enjoyable as my first visit to the folk club many years ago. The menu had a great selection, the prices for both food and wine were very reasonable, and the dishes were delicious. The service was friendly and efficient.
