Came in on a week night for a birthday dinner. It's moody lighting and nostalgic, vintage charm set the mood for a interesting food experience. The dishes on the dinner menu each had an atypical twist and the price tag to match.<br/ <br/ First was a perfect pate along with simple bread and tangy chutney.<br/ <br/ I had tuna, which was a little over-seared for my personal liking (I very much enjoy sashimi) but still very good. This one gets a rating of PBD PRETTY **** DELICIOUS<br/ <br/ Surperb fit out (and I had spent alot of time in its previous life as the crosstown , so I was nostalgic and somewhat reticent before entering) but was nicely surprised with a great menu and drinks (upstairs bar is also in fine form) ....all in all memorable meal... And that's really all we ask for isn't it? Something where you wouldn't say, oh you know i can cook better than this at home and I humbly espouse that in most cases,<br/ I do ... But not this time.
Another hidden gem in Woolloongabba worth discovering. I came for a few pre drinks and was really keen on checking out their hidden whiskey bar but it was closed for a private whiskey tasting. We ended up sitting next to the bar in an area decorated like an old toy store. Very cool concept! Love the atmosphere and all the different areas you can sit at. Very cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. The beers and champagne we ordered were nice and not too pricey.
I've eaten here on three separate occasions and their flavoursome food will see me back for a fourth and fifth and sixth! The staff go out of their way to ensure you feel comfortable and relaxed for the best dining experience. They have a wide selection of beverages that will ensure every whistle is wet. An excellent venue, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. There always seems to be something new to try be it a beer downstairs or an excellent whisky picked with the help of the amazing bartenders, well deserving of their accolades. Tip for the newcomer, join the whisky club.
One of the coolest places to chill and feast on tasty burgers in the 'gabba. Massive thumbs up for friendly service, excellent food and a comprehensive drinks menu. A great place for drinks and eats after work or anytime.
This is a funky and creative bar in the Gabba. It’s usually packed on weekends and does well with a group. The food is average but the cocktails and wine list are excellent. The staff are friendly and attentive

This place is great. Saturday afternoon drink specials and a tops atmosphere. Had a cheese platter which was delicious with a mixture of nuts and a fruit paste. Super lovely.
