Elena's Cuban Cafe

craving a cuban sandwich at work out in lakeland was the best decision ever. when i walked in the staff was welcoming and quick to help me since i had never been in store before. with my job being walking distance i find it incredibly easy and assuring that i can call and order over the phone and when i get there 10-15 minutes later that my food will be ready for me up front. i might have a problem though because now the staff all know me and dont even ask me for my name to know which order is mine. good food, though! highly recommend

I am from Broward and love Cuban food. There’s a little place I usually stop at when I head south because I could not find a place. That is, until I found Elena’s. The food is spectacular! The empanadas- both the beef and guava cheese, so crispy and perfect. The first pork chunks? Holy cow. The hubs and I shared and there was plenty for us both. The black beans and rice were so delicious. And the cafe con leche is fabulous. Really, the food is that good.

Friendly welcoming atmosphere, real authentic cuban food, reasonably priced. Try their chicken yellow rice!
