I had a confusing experience with my order. I ordered an Impossible Burger with all the toppings that come standard, which is $10.10, and I requested an extra patty (which I know incurs an additional charge). I also got fries for about $5 and a bottle of water for around $2. However, my total came to $31. So you're telling me that an extra patty costs $14? If I had ordered just the burger without the extra patty, it would have only cost me $17. When I spoke to another employee about the $31 charge, she mentioned it was because I "built my own." But I didn't build anything; I just asked for something already on the menu and added an extra patty.
I've dined at this restaurant frequently, but my most recent visit was truly disappointing. I ordered a hamburger, fries, and a soda—pretty straightforward, right? However, the hamburger was incredibly dry and arrived so quickly that it seemed like it had been pre-made and just reheated. The fries were served on a paper plate that was soaked in old olive oil, making them the greasiest I've ever eaten. Additionally, the place was completely empty except for me.
This burger and shake are the best I’ve ever had, and I travel all over the US for work. However, it is a bit pricey. I spent $30 on a soda, shake, burger, and cheese fries, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5.
This location was clean and the staff was friendly. Quick stop when returning from NYC towards Boston. FYI grass fed,organic and halal beef.
