Elizabeth's is a hidden gem. Half quality restaurant half frienfly neighborhood bar. The food here is outstanding everytime I have gone. Primarily an Italian restaurant with a few Southern Cajun/Creole dishes.I try something different every time. The shrimp appetizers are a favorite of mine, especially the Shrimp Lisboa. The Portugese salad is also a favorite. For my last experience I had the Cajun Alfredo with Chicken. A delicious though a it heavy. The seafood palliative, chicken parmasean, ravioli are all hits as well. Each table also receives a basket of warm rolls and butter. The menu was rather unexciting, and the food was mediocre—nothing memorable. When I inquired with the waitress about a particular dressing, asking if it was creamy, she assured me it wasn’t. However, when it was poured over my salad, it turned out to be creamy after all. The staff should be more informed about the specifics of the menu items instead of guessing. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere as a 3 out of 5.
