We've been here before, but it was a few years ago when my daughter had a medical appointment on the street and we were hungry. We find this place randomly and today when we asked what everyone wanted, my youngest remembered this place, but not the name. When she was gogled by us, she was like? We were greeted by another server for our beverage order, but then another server was the one who actually waited for us. We didn't catch the name of our server. This charming little spot has an inviting interior that perfectly suits its small business vibe. Our server, Donna, was incredibly sweet and friendly. The menu is quite extensive, with daily specials to choose from. They offer both breakfast and lunch. I opted for the grilled ham and cheese, which came with a generous bowl of fresh broccoli soup—something the server happily noted they make daily. The soup was delicious, though I tend to prefer a creamier version; this one had plenty of broccoli, which I appreciated. The ham in the sandwich was thick and flavorful, although it was a bit salty for my taste. Overall, I had a very enjoyable experience.
I came in today at 7:30 and picked up my food. I ordered the house Philly. But they went beyond and beyond! The taste was amazing and the part was great. I was greeted by all the staff when I went to the square. Waitress, opponent and even the kitchen welcomed me. This place is hands down a 5-star restaurant. I usually get breakfast, but I was so impressed with dinner. Great work for everyone in Ellies.
We visit Ellie's regularly and love it! It's a wonderful neighborhood gem. The staff is incredibly friendly, and even when the place is busy, the wait isn't too long. Every dish we've tried has been delicious! We've almost made our way through the entire menu, and nothing has let us down. We've only visited a few times, but we absolutely love it. The food and service are consistently excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. Recently, we brought some friends who have lived in the area for a decade and had never been before—they loved it as well. This place is definitely a hidden gem.
This might be the best dining experience I've had in at least three years. The food was excellent, and the service was cheerful and attentive. I only regret waiting eight years to visit this place.
