this place gets 1 star from me because our overall experience in this restaurant has been horrible thanks to the attitude of the host. in an objectivity concern, I will describe our experience with as much details as possible: two weeks before coming to bets, my wife and I made a reservation at this place at 11:45. We arrived around 11:53 and the hosts directed us to one of the bistro tables whose chairs do not have a file. I've been here with my wife many times in recent years, and everything has always been unhung. Everything was kind of reversed during today's Sunday brunch. First, we waited for about 15 minutes for the menus. Then our order came across (out of service - they wanted to serve us iced doughnuts with ricotta before our fried chicken because they had forgotten the chicken and it was the last doughnuts). During this time, other customers who arrived after us were served before us, including chicken. We had lunch at ellsworth after visiting the christian dior exhibition - no reservation and we were happy to sit at the bar because we had heard good reviews. the food is small plates and was delicious - the calf ris were absolutely remarkable, but the vegetable dishes were also held well - creamy cheese and orange beet and mushroom scrub were all outstanding. dessert to malt was a winner, but the meringue to berries also (described as pavlova but I am Australian and it is not pavlova). the staff was completely busy but took time for us, and the children offered us wine to test before buying and talking a perfect English. a real jewel and I highly recommend it.

It is a hole in the wall, with modern décor that serves small plates. each dish was a complete success. Well, I wasn't expecting to find the best betting fried chicken here. The salad of ancient tomatoes, the ravioli of the rub and asparagus were a success. the plates are small, so you can order and try everything on the menu if you wish or double the fried chicken. I fell on ellsworth around 9:30; No reservation. We shared 2 entries (style tapas) and had our own main dish (small dish) - the best calfs I've ever had. The lotte (lotte) with the Asian broth with shiitake mushrooms was sublime. the wine was at a reasonable price. Friendly service. small restaurant with a very good atmosphere. highly recommended.
