While exploring some local charity shops on the same street, we discovered Elmer's restaurant. The staff greeted us warmly, and we ordered our food at the counter. We were informed that our food would be ready in 10 minutes, but we were surprised when a piping hot latte was brought to our table within just 3 minutes. Shortly after, our delicious breakfast arrived on a hot plate. The breakfast and service were both outstanding, receiving a perfect 10/10 rating. We will undoubtedly be returning to Elmer's again and again. 5 stars.
Brilliant old fashioned down to earth cafe. Unbelievable value breakfast with great quality ingredients. Friendly staff and owner really interested in our visit to Cardiff and offering advice on places for us to visit. We were even given an extra free sausage because I said how much I’d enjoyed them. If you want a warm welcome and a hearty full Welsh breakfast at a very low price in Cardiff, Elmer’s is the only place.
Just right for a breakfast. Lots of choice, good wholesome food and very reasonable prices. Hospitality and service was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Elmer's isn't fancy it's an old fashioned cafe that serves simple food in good portion size. If you are looking for somewhere to fill up after a night out look no further!!
I absolutely love the Sunday lunch at Elmer's. It's such great value for only £8. The meat is delicious and there are plenty of vegetables smothered in a rich, tasty gravy that my mother would have been proud of. It's always a treat to dine here! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The food at this cafe always impresses us. The breakfast is cooked beautifully with high-quality ingredients, the service is quick and friendly, and it always feels like a welcoming family atmosphere. It's a pleasure every time we visit.
Great value and delicious Sunday lunch .. a full plate of tasty food .. the lamb was very tender .. such good value at £8 .. the cafe was very busy but the lunch was worth the wait .. I will return !!
We walked 3 miles this morning to have breakfast here and wow was it worth it. Staff were friendly, the food was beautiful, hot, perfectly cooked, served with a smile. Great coffee too.

Excellent, best full English I’ve had to date, it will take some beating, very reasonable, good quality products, the bacon melts in your mouth!!! And the owner is super friendly!!!
