The food is homemade and tasty, but the restaurant's approach to serving a family is disappointing. We were charged 30 reais for a 1 year old baby's meal, with the restaurant's policy that as the baby ate from a separate dish it would be charged. If he had eaten his few bites of rice and beans from his parents' dishes, they wouldn't charge him. A great example of how to lose consumers due to a poorly thought out policy in a place renowned for its hospitality.
Excellent place for lunch, very fair prices and the attention of the owner 10 out of 10. I like that during the week it is cheaper and that if you pay in cash you have an additional discount.
