Absolutely disappointing... Won't be back!. We dined in with our family for a celebration and was very disappointed with the meals. We ordered a mixed grill which was supposed to be cooked medium and was so over cooked it was like a leather boot and really tough to cut. The chicken nuggets on my child's plate were the processed kind and didn't resemble anything like chicken. For $8.50 I would expect the 5 nuggets served would at least be hand made... not hard guys! The fishermans basket was really a seafood plate (no basket) and everything had been pre-processed or frozen, deepfried and crumbed. Two tiny strips of calamari and frozen scollops the size of a 10c piece, there was more crumb...r...
I visited here with a friend for lunch and had the special for $7.95, but upgraded to dessert and I had to add an additional $3 for the aussie topping on my carving that contained an egg. we started our meal with suppe and fresh broth rolls, but I had to ask at the bar for suppen dishes and spoons, because there is no available at the Soup/Salad/Veg bar and had to return quickly and have replaced one of the spoons as I was given a large servier spoon instead of a suppen spoon. the suppe was cream of the sweet and on a really cold day the warm suppe was appreciated, but it could have done with more spicy. I have been going here for over 20 years and remember when the staff and Chef use to be helpful and accommodating. Not recently. The manager is more concerned about her little skirt than pleasing customers. I requested my favourite dish that I found out once served to me they had changed. I asked the manager to change the spiced chicken for the normal chicken that has been in the dish for years only to be told that there would be a $9.50 charge. I asked for a refund and the manager said not my fault it's the chef. Service is quick because there are less and less people going for the awful service and after 20 years I am going somewhere else.
here have been a few times and must say everything is not pleasant to be there. the order was very slow, as only one person at the bar, where ordering is made. the girl tried her best, and she should be laughed. but still, downhill from there. eating was very thorough and the salatable was disappointing. the service is from 12noon to 2pm...we came to 1.15pm...not mice salatbar left and was not upstairs. only another person who brings food and clearing tables, something grumpy, if asked....not what a paying customer expects. there were some Interstate visitors to dinner. first experience with carving for one of them. how embarrassing it was dry and disgusting. the other visitor was disappointed with his meal. a complaint was filed, but basically dismissed. my 79 yo mother called the manager and was promised to have a voucher in the post, but didn't come! do not let yourself be with this hotel, terrible eating, service and no atmosphere.
prices and service were acceptable, but that must have been the worst food I've experienced everywhere as long as I can remember. the salatable was terrible, and a barely edible carving parmi. the only redeeming part of the experience was the good equipment for children therefore my 2 star rating instead of one! not soon back.

Very Thick Roast Beef. Went for lunch in the Bistro and ordered a MR Scotch Fillet with mushroom sauce. Steak was cooked well done and severely under seasoned. No effort was made in presentation or garnish staff generally unfriendly. Don't recommend! Wont be back! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
